Campbell: The Cosmos within us
(London, UK; Gnosis Arts Multimedia, New York) This October, Londoners will have the opportunity to take part in a workshop facilitated by physicist and author , Thomas Campbell. Campbell is a consciousness expert and author of "My Big TOE: My Big Picture Theory of Everything" ( Lightening Strikes Books, 2009), a trilogy of metaphysics, quantum science, and trans-personal consciousness. The workshop, entitled "Physics, Metaphysics, and Your Place in the Larger Reality" runs Saturday and Sunday, October 10 and 11, from 10 a.m. - 5:30 p.m. on both days. The cost is 175 GBP for the entire weekend, and it will be held in the Camden area of London, Hampstead Town Centre, Haverstock Hill, NW3 4QP.
Campbell is known by his fans, many of whom attended his Toronto, Canada, and USA seminars, as a thrilling and charismatic speaker and consciousness expert. Fusing the normal, empirical, and objective with the paranormal, transcendent , and subjective, the scientist and poet join in him to offer an exploration into the vast reaches of the human psyche and its place in the cosmos. Discussion and debate are sure to foray into the heights and depths, and the upcoming workshop should be of interest to scholars and the merely curious in equal measure.
Gnosis Arts Multimedia, which is co-promoting Campbell with MBT Events, hosted British Quantum Theorist Anthony Peake on Madison Avenue in New York City this past August 3. Peake presented in the Grand Ballroom of the famous Roosevelt Hotel before an audience of some 350 members of Manhattan's press and public. Says Peake, "I am keenly interested in Campbell's expansions, and his kinship with many of my own ideas."
