SMALL WORLD's distinctive voice, witty lyrical content, and mesmerizing flow has attracted fans from all over the US,UK, Sweden, Canada, and Germany. He was able to accomplish all of this without dropping a single album or mixtape. The streets love SMALL WORLD’s ability to ignite fire to the microphone, while always remaining humble and true to the streets.
SMALL WORLD is one of the first hip hop artists out of North Carolina to get signed by a major label (DTP/Def Jam). When Ludacris, Chaka Zulu, and Jeff Dixon – DTP CEO’s heard SMALL WORLD’s lyrical capability they immediately signed him to a major recording contract with distribution through Def Jam. Ludacris was so impressed with SMALL WORLD’s talent that he came to North Carolina after signing SMALL WORLD and threw a weekend long extravaganza for SMALL WORLD and his group NrfClk to let people know exactly how impressed he was with him. Ludacris enthusiasm with SMALL WORLD didn’t end there, he also featured in SMALL WORLD’s debut music video “Mr. Magnificent”
SMALL WORLD’s first mixtape project "The Carolina Blueprint Vol. 1" is due to drop in October of 2009. And his debut album entitled "World Premiere" is just about complete. But you don't have to wait until then to hear SMALL WORLD's music.
