Sept. 16, 2009 - PRLog -- Greenough, MT – The Resort at Paws Up, Montana’s premier luxury resort, has assembled four extraordinary culinary talents from Dallas, Chicago, Boulder, CO and Montana, plus three prestigious wineries in Napa Valley and brought them all together for the 4th annual Montana Master Chefs culinary event. From October 8-11, 2009, guests will experience epicurean delights with world-class chefs and vintners, luxury wilderness adventures and first-class accommodations in an expansive, yet intimate setting.

Three renowned and remarkably talented chefs, Stephanie Izard from Scylla and The Drunken Goat in Chicago and Top Chef Season 4 winner, Hosea Rosenberg from Jax Fish House in Boulder and Top Chef Season 5 winner, and Kent Rathbun from Abacus and Jasper’s in Dallas will team up with Chef Wes Coffel from The Resort at Paws Up for this four-day innovative program. Each evening a featured chef will prepare a dinner menu paired with a Napa Valley wine maker for Paws Up guests. By day, guests are invited to participate in adventure activities with chefs and vintners, cooking demonstrations, plus informative tastings with featured wineries including Joseph Phelps Vineyards, Frog’s Leap Winery, and Stag’s Leap Wine Cellars, all from Napa Valley, California.

With 28 private home accommodations, four talented chefs, three award-winning wine makers and 37,000 acres of property to play on – Montana Master Chefs is not a typical culinary event.  Guests will have the opportunity to interact one-on-one with the chefs and burn calories at the same time by indulging in the variety of wilderness adventures hosted each day on property, including horseback riding, fly-fishing, Blackfoot River floats, sporting clays, ATV riding, hiking, mushroom foraging and more.

The Montana Master Chefs all-inclusive weekend from October 8 - 11, 2009, is $4,323 per couple for four days, three nights. This rate includes private home accommodation, three meals daily (including all featured dinners and wine pairings), all scheduled events and activities, airport transfers to/from Missoula International Airport (MSO), and on-property transportation for two people. Ask about the “Friends & Family” rate for parties of four or more who are interested in taking advantage of Paws Up’s larger three-or four-bedroom homes.
