art-s-talker presents “Inclusive Innovation: Future Scenarios”

art-s-talker is introducing its innovative vision on Inclusive Future Scenarios during the London Design Festival.

Sept. 7, 2009 - PRLog -- This September visitors of the London Design Festival will get a chance to see and experience some of the most forward thinking projects and technologies presented as part of art-s-talker’s show “Inclusive Innovation: Future Scenarios”.

SKIN dresses that communicate the emotional state of the wearer using sensitive materials and emotive technologies, and Electronics Tattoos by Philips Probe; interactive restaurant ordering systems by Inamo, button-less remote control for Bang&Olufsen - art-s-talker brings a selection of the projects that will be shaping the foreseeable future of social development in consumer markets, fashion, life style, entertainment industry, and communication.

Apart from the apparent innovation theme, presented projects are linked by art-s-talker’s Inclusive Innovation tag. They all have been selected as examples of advanced technologies that present great potential for inclusive design – development of products and environments for users with different levels of physical abilities.

The concept of Inclusive Innovation, developed by art-s-talker, looks into development of innovative ideas through exploration of alternative ways of interaction & communication. It merges inclusive design principles and latest technological advances.

Development of innovative ideas is at the core of all art-s-talker’s activities. In less than two years from its foundation by Central Saint Martin’s graduates Aliya Kistau and Dzera Kaytati, it has grown into an independent creative brand with multidisciplinary practice and a vision that Inclusive Innovation is a way forward to push creative, social and economical boundaries.

“Our intake on Inclusive Innovation stems from our strong belief that application of inclusive approach presents a very positive challenge not only for the creative minds but for the industry in general as it fosters the development of truly innovative solutions functional for a universal user yet aesthetically appealing to the mainstream market.”

The first public show is art-s-talker’s endeavour to introduce professional design industry and namely the generation of designers to the idea of creative and commercial potential that lies within the inclusive approach.

Participants: Philips Probes, Magic Interaction for Bang&Olufsen, winner of Nokia Benelux Design Awards, interactive installation by Inamo, Sixth Sense and others.

As part of show art-s-talker also launches the 1st edition of a new annual digital directory on emerging artists & designers “e-Creative London 2009”.

It will be released on a USB drive and will showcase a selection of the best art&design graduates across 10 disciplines (including fashion, fine art, graphics, interior, and product) hand-picked by art-s-talker's agents from the degree shows.
It is anticipated as a “must have” resource for the UK and international professional creative industry.
