Improved techniques and high patient demand make learning Venous Sclerotherapy a must for any physician planning to integrate aesthetic procedures into an existing practice. Over 80 million Americans suffer with unsightly venous disease and with a majority of about (75%) of these are cosmetic in nature. Attendees will receive thorough training in all areas of Sclerotherapy including the most common injection techniques, medical protocols utilized, ultrasound, and a complete presentation with the latest laser solutions to common problems. Venous anatomy and pathophysiology, Sclerosing agents, techniques, complications, contraindications, and standard of care are covered in detail.

This is a hands-on sclerotherapy training workshop with live patient demonstrations using small group sizes to facilitate the learning process. Integrating Sclerotherapy into a medical practice can help patients both medically and with cosmetic requests. Learning to perform this service is an effective method to help current patients while adding significant income into any aesthetic practice. Sclerotherapy remains the standard treatment for spider and reticular (blue feeder) veins.

At Empire Medical Training each student learns to thoroughly evaluate the potential patient with aesthetic and/or medical requests and becomes proficient in aesthetic Sclerotherapy techniques-needle, ultrasound, and laser solutions. Each student gains the technical skills to perform the various Sclerotherapy procedures and learns the medical protocols to treat reflux in leg veins using Sclerotherapy.

This course includes laser and intense pulsed light therapy, endovenous radiofrequency and laser, ambulatory phlebectomy, and surgical ligation and stripping. Each attendee will understand when to perform specific diagnostic studies and the importance of Doppler and other non-invasive studies. Learn the importance of pre treatment compression. Upon the completion of Empire Medical Training’s Sclerotherapy training workshop be able to implement specific strategies for marketing and practice growth.
