on Single Dads Town Radio Show

Denver, CO (August 22, 2009)—Bill McLeod and producers of The Bill McLeod Show, Helping Single Parents Succeed, are pleased to welcome former star of the ABC Show “The Bachelor”, Jason Mesnick, to their weekly single parents radio show. The show will air at 9 am PST/12 pm EST on Saturday, August 22 on terrestrial KNUS 710 Denver, as well as on CBS Online’s Chat About It worldwide.

Mesnick, 32, is a single father of 4-year-old son Ty, as well as the first single father to appear on the popular show. As an account executive, Mesnick balances career and publicity while still maintaining a very positive, motivating role in his son’s life. Consequently, the former bachelor recently reached out to fellow single parents by starting his new website, www.Jasonsplace.com, a social networking community for parents across the U.S.

Mesnick, who also maintains social media pages on Twitter, Facebook and MySpace, decided to transform his personal website into an online community for single parents after receiving an outpouring of feedback from others facing similar challenges.  “Our goal is to build a community through our shared experiences as single parents,” says Mesnick.  “A place to learn, share, and gain an even better appreciation for the greatest joys in our lives – our children.”

Similarly, Bill McLeod created www.singledadstown.com, a site for single dads, like Mesnick, as well as single mothers searching for advice and motivation while facing the challenges of single parenthood. As a single dad, Bill understands the challenges and sacrifices that single parent's face daily. Bill's hope and passion is that Single Dads Town will provide the ability and tools to become the most successful parent for your children.
