Aug. 18, 2009 - PRLog -- Britains biggest energy supplier, British Gas (www.britishgas.co.uk), has introduced a new dual fuel off-line tariff thats cheaper than its standard tariff.

Britains largest domestic energy supplier, British Gas (www.britishgas.co.uk), has just launched a new dual fuel, off-line tariff thats guaranteed to be cheaper than its Standard Tariff.

Track and Save 2011 guarantees to be at least 2% cheaper than British Gas standard tariff prices right up until 31 January 2011. At the prices of 27 July 2009, Track and Save 2011 customers would make an average annual saving of £60 on their gas and electricity bills.

This is a welcome option for people who would not be inclined to sign up to an online or paperless billing tariff (although these tariffs would generally be cheaper).

British Gas cheapest tariff is WebSaver 3, however EDF (www.edfenergy.com) and E.ON (www.eonenergy.com) both offer cheaper online tariffs, depending on your households energy consumption.

Seeus2save suggests customers compare gas and electricity prices using the seeus2save.com online calculator http://seeus2save.com/utilities.php to find the cheapest tariff available in their area.

As usual, customers will receive a further discount should they choose to pay by Direct Debit

Customers will face a cancellation charge of £30 per fuel if they sign up for Track and Save 2011 but switch energy tariffs before 31 January 2011.
