Aug. 14, 2009 - PRLog -- A very unique amateur golf tour is about to take California by storm.  The Players Advantage Club Amateur Golf Tour will kick off their tour beginning in April of 2010 at courses in different regions throughout California.

The Players Advantage Club Amateur Golf Tour will have players from all over California competing against each other for points and prizes.  The Players Advantage Club web site (www.tpaclub.com) will have leaderboards that will keep track of the tour players’ scores, points, and playing stats.  Golfers will be able to use a special, custom made player guide at each course during their tournament round to keep track of their scores and playing stats that they can then enter online.

One of the more popular aspects of the tour is that the golfer is no longer required to play on a certain day for a tournament.  Golfers can pick and choose when they want to play a round that will count towards their tournament round for the month.  Another great feature of the tour is that golfers who have friends in other parts of California (and eventually other parts of the United States) can compare tour scores and stats online with their friends.  And if they make it to the Championships they can play against each other.

The Players Advantage Club web site is the driving force behind this tour.  The web site when officially launched, will provide many benefits to golfers including golf tips from Top 100 Golf Instructors, a special scorecard tracking & game analysis program, and a top of the line Health & Fitness area, just to name a few.

It is free to join the tour and The Players Advantage Club web site.  Golfers need to sign up to be a member on the web site and then for their tour region at www.tpaclub.com.  The cost to play in each tournament round is just the normal cost to play at the golf course, plus a small additional prize pool fee.

About The Players Advantage Club Web Site:

The web site will be a one stop golfing site that helps golfers improve their game as well as provides almost everything a golfer could need from a golf web site.  Golfers can also check out important information about any golf course in the United States.  Golf courses keep their page up to date on the web site using their unique username and password.   Contact www.tpaclub.com for your username and password.
