The founder of An Inspired Mind LLC is passionately committed to helping as many people as possible uncover their own gifts and offer them to the world.  'It is only when you are able to contribute your unique gifts to the greater good that your life truly becomes purposeful,' according to Ms Harwell.    Her passion stems from her own experience living what she calls a 'supposed to' life.  

'Up until very recently, I made choices in my life based off of what I thought was expected of me.  I graduated from college, accepted a back office position in Corporate America (at a major Investment Bank), and proceeded to jump through the hoops that I thought would propel my career in Operations.  I spent six years of my life trying my hardest to impress and excel.  I was successful in these endeavors and enjoyed a supervisory role within my team.  A sudden change of plans in my personal life resulted in a move to the Atlanta area.  My husband and I decided that this would be the best place to raise our family based on a number of factors.  To retain my talents, my company offered me the opportunity to work remotely and essentially telecommute from Atlanta.  The two years that followed were some of the unhappiest of my life.  I was isolated, unfulfilled and after the credit crisis in the fall of October 2008, terrified that I may face being laid off from a job that I hated.  I realized that shopping for another job just like the one I had, except out of the house and away from my kids, was simply not an option.  I held my toes to the fire and got busy taking stock of who I was and what was truly important to me.  I looked within myself, reflecting on all of the things that I value in life and all of the things I am passionate about.   I made a commitment to myself and my family that I would no longer live a 'supposed to' life no matter what the consequences.  I moved fearlessly forward in my pursuit of living my dream of being an entrepreneur and assisting others in uncovering their own purpose.  I know what it is to be frustrated and feel that your life lacks a deeper sense of meaning.  I know what it is to feel that you have an amazing capacity to give back but to not know where to begin.  My company, philosophy and programs were born out of this understanding.'
