By: Stacia Shockley Beginning with the future Stacia Shockley NYC Online Entertainment News August 10, 2009, Atlanta, GA -- Vanessa Carmack and the team of the Ultimate Dream Concert are gearing up for a philanthropic event. Along with 3G Live Media & Entertainment, Posh Platinum has established the 3G College Fund Program- an independent trust designed to assist in the continued advancement of college students adversely impacted by the country's economic downturn. The Crowe's Nest in College Park will be the stage for the pilot. 300, an exciting new Peoria-originated hip hop trio, will be making their world premiere over this innovative platform. A portion of all proceeds will be donated to the fund and its first-time recipient Honesty Brennan of Stone Mountain, GA. Drawing to the close of the 2008/2009 school year, Florida A & M University informed this flourishing sophomore that the scholarship program which was sponsoring her education had been administratively dissolved as a result of the national economic downturn. The student was devastated. The guys of 300 went to Posh and introduced the idea of throwing a benefit to assist Honesty, and other suffering students, restore their opportunity to attain their college degree. The team loved the idea. Unfortunately, the clock has not stopped for Honesty. The closer that she gets to the new school year, the more disparate she grows. Collectively, they acted and on August 18, the very first Ultimate Dream Concert featuring 300 will broadcast live from the Crowe's Nest - an Atlanta landmark. Tickets for the benefit may be purchase online at www.worldof300.com. As Talley of 300 stated in a recent interview, "a little can become much if all of us work together." End
