Aug. 7, 2009 - PRLog -- Lee Child is a British thriller novelist who lives in New York State. He spends his spare time with music, reading and likes to travel for vacations, especially on promotion tours so that he can meet his readers, to whom he is eternally thankful.

“Gone Tomorrow” is the 13th novel in the strangely appealing Jack Reacher series, which is one of the most successful thriller series in the world.  The story begins at on a New York subway in the early hours of the morning, where Reacher notices a woman, Susan Mark who looks suspicious in a way that makes Reacher conclude that she is a suicide bomber on a mission. But Reacher can't help Susan since she commits suicide, instead of setting off a bomb.

Soon, Reacher realizes she is not the suicide bomber and so he invites the interest of the Police Department. However, he senses out danger ahead since there is something mysterious about the dead woman’s individuality that puts larger forces into play. Once the people started to scatter, due to fear, Reacher who is just a witness for Susan’s death, notices an innocent bystander, being chased by the FBI, the Department of Defense, NYPD and a strange group of terrorists.

In this story, Reacher is quite slow off the mark, at first working things out wrong as usual and finally rethink his options. Due to Reacher’s interference, he has become a centre target for secretive foreign agents, federal officials and persons from the Pentagon who have some part behind the pre-planned tragedies that is expected to commence soon. Will Reacher figures out the disasters waiting ahead?
