Kentico Offers Free Web Content Management Solution for SharePoint

The Connector allows business users to create content on their SharePoint intranet and publish it on the public-facing web sites powered by Kentico Web Content Management System. It helps organizations to work around the lack of Web Content Management features of Microsoft SharePoint and simplify the publishing workflow.

The fast adoption of Microsoft SharePoint leaves many organizations in a difficult situation. Since SharePoint doesn't provide a complete solution for public-facing web sites, they have to manage their on-line content in other systems. It can be used with any edition of Kentico CMS, including the Free Edition. It means companies with simple web publishing needs can extend their SharePoint to the web without additional investment into a Web Content Management System.

Kentico CMS Connector works with both Microsoft Office SharePoint Server (MOSS) 2007 and Windows SharePoint Services (WSS) 3.0. It support publishing of SharePoint document libraries, files, lists and pictures.
