KAILUA, HI — Three one-day conferences will be held during Asia Pacific’s premier feed industry convention, Victam Asia 2010 in Bangkok. Each will focus on one of the three key areas of interest to the region’s feed industry: feed ingredients and formulation, aquafeed production and grain quality and preservation.
Asia dominates the world in aquaculture production and is the feed industry’s fastest growing market. Aquafeed Horizons Asia will once again bring together a group of international experts to present practical solutions and new ideas for aquafeed production.
Ingredients and complete feed sampled in Asian countries have been found to be particularly prone to mycotoxins, and their levels can be very high. Grain preservation is a vital issue and one that impacts the entire feed sector. For this reason, the topic has been given its own meeting, GRAPAS Asia Conference, to give adequate coverage of the subject.
Both macro- and micro-ingredients in livestock and aquatic feed formulation will be the focus of the FIAAP Conference.
“We are sensitive to the economic climate and have endeavoured to structure the meetings so that delegates can get the best value from them”, organizer, Suzi Dominy said. “Rather than tie people in to a full three-day meeting that may not be fully relevant to their interests, delegates can mix and match, attending one, two or all three meetings,” she said.
Registration has just opened and delegates can save on their fees by taking advantage of a number of discounts available. The earlier you book the cheaper the rates and discounts will also be applied to multiple meetings. “This year we are also offering a further price break to groups of just three or more who register together”, Dominy said. Pre-registration is required for all three meetings.
The conferences will take place from March 3-5, 2010 at the QSNCC, Bangkok, as part of Victam Asia.
