PR Log (Press Release) – Jul 28, 2009 – Specialist UK component distributor, Advanced Power Components (APC), has signed a distribution agreement with AVX to supply its high reliability capacitors, including tantalum and ceramic devices suitable for the military, aerospace, space and medical markets. The products will be available through the APC Hi-Rel unit.
Devices will include: MIL-55365, CECC, COTS and ESCC tantalum components, MIL-39014, MIL-55681, MIL-49470, ESCC ceramic devices and a range of RF and microwave, glass and ceramic custom devices and filters. The company also has custom screening and test service capabilities.

AVX European director for hi-rel products, Lee Thompson, said: “Adding APC to our list of franchised distributors in the UK demonstrates our commitment to all high reliability markets.
