There is a question of how much time the average user spends searching for things on computers. Whatever the answer, ACS thinks that all of that time is unnecessary. FileButler's primary feature is the elimination of the need to search for files. For years users have been subject to the rules of computers because those rules were necessary to make computers operate. Although those rules are still necessary for the computer, we can now remove that burden from the user.
FileButler can also save disk space by helping the user flush out extra copies of files that were buried inside the filesystem. In addition, FileButler has a built-in picture viewer that can be used to create a slideshow, rotate sideways photos, and browse the images from your digital camera. The picture viewer is extremely fast and can handle all of the common image types transparently.
What FileButler offers to computer users is so unique that ACS holds the patent on the “method and system” that FileButler was conceived around. The idea is ours and we're proud of it; you will not find it anywhere else. Even so, we still believe that FileButler's potential is largely unexplored. There are numerous time-consuming tasks in everyday computer use, and we want FileButler to continue providing alternatives to those which are unnecessary. We want to keep doing our part.
