Komen is excited to partner with AMF bowling to help raise awareness and funds for breast cancer,” said Allison Levin, the manager of fund development and media for Komen Phoenix. “It’ The event will have raffle prizes that will include a pink bowling ball, family fun packs for bowling, a bowling ball signed by Shaq and a bowling ball bag. The prizes will vary at each location. Raffle tickets will be on sale with one raffle ticket for $2 and six raffle tickets for $10. All funds raised will be donated to the local Phoenix chapter. Wearing pink is highly encouraged and this event is open to the public. Susan G. Komen for the Cure is the global leader of the breast cancer movement, having invested more than $1 billion since its inception in 1982. As the world’s largest grassroots network of breast cancer survivors and activists, the organization is working together to save lives, empower people, ensure quality care for all and energize science to find the cure.
