Jul 14, 2009 – Today it was announced that the Silver Star Families of America is searching for the best Veterans Administration doctor in the United States. Steve Newton, SSFOA Founder, states, “The Board of Directors wants to honor a primary care physician that was not chosen by a professional organization, but chosen by people that matter most—the veterans.”
The Silver Star Families of America was founded in 2005 to remember, honor and assist members of America’s armed forces who have been wounded or became ill while serving in a war zone. The organization has previously honored military medical personnel who have had a direct impact on care of the wounded.
