Flashback Media Covers Sustainability At 2009 LOHAS Conference

PR Log (Press Release) – Jun 24, 2009 – Supporters and entrepreneurs of the culture of sustainability flocked to Boulder, Colorado last week to share ideas and inventions at the LOHAS (Lifestyles of Health and Sustainability) conference and Flashback Media Productions, a LOHAS sponsor, was there to capture it all.

With seminars ranging from new ideas in marketing of natural products with Steve French of the Natural Marketing Institute to Ecotourism with Rob Katz of Vail Resorts and Leveraging the Power of Social Networks with Joe Green of Causes.com, LOHAS brought together new ideas and innovators of the rapidly growing sustainability movement.

Norm Strassner, director and editor at Flashback Media had access to the entire conference and was able to videotape the seminars as well as interviewing speakers, exhibitors and attendees from all areas of the sustainable living culture.

In a Flashback interview with Mariel Hemingway, international actress, healthy foods activist and participant in a session at the event, she said “I’ve been a big supporter of LOHAS for many years.  People come here seeking solutions and can actually find them.”   She observed that, after many years of indifference, there is finally identifiable movement towards a healthier environment and smarter choices for living.
