Caponocca, a new tee-shirt company based in Los Angeles, has just announced plans to offer a cash prize of $2,500.00 to a lucky customer in their “Crazy. Sexy. Cool!” summer contest. Participants are encouraged to visit the company’s website at www.caponocca.com to pick up one of their famous “Logo Tees”; and take a picture or video of themselves in a crazy, sexy or cool situation. Then, that picture or video is uploaded to the website for others to rate. Each photo or video is judged on authenticity, originality and basically if it stays true to the theme of the campaign. The top rated picture or video is then awarded the grand cash prize!
Norvell Thomas, the company’s president said that “this summer, it’s all about looking fresh and cool in the hot summer sun. This contest allows for the expression of freedom and individuality that encompasses what Caponocca is all about!” The term Caponocca, in fact, is a play on terms that means ‘knucklehead’
The Company hopes to inspire thousands of fans to wear their Caponocca Logo Tee in pride, as well as check out some of the other cool designs that are being submitted by other users. “There are so many talented designers out there, that we wish we could print everyone of them”, says Norvell. “However, only a lucky few get to be printed under the Caponocca brand name.”
Although Caponocca is still a relatively young site (it only opened in May 09), the buzz around it has been surprisingly strong. The Company boasts an active readership from Twitter at around 4,500 and an active user base that contributes greatly to the site.
