FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE

PR Log (Press Release)Jun 17, 2009 – Woodlake, CA

With the summer in full swing, insects are finding homes in many of our backyards, gardens and favorite places to relax. These bugs love to pester our family gatherings and disturb our lovely gardens. We scramble around town to our favorite retail stores searching for an insecticide to spray our gardens hoping to kill the bugs without harming our produce. And then we walk down the grocery isle searching high and low for a bug spray that doesn’t smell like chemicals and burn our eyes. Nothing seems to solve both of these issues. Not until now.

Natural Resources Group of Woodlake, CA, discovered that cedar oil will accomplish both issues! Cedar oil is a chemical free insect control created as an alternative to traditionally used pyrethrums. Cedar oil works on pheromone (odor) driven insects by disrupting the octopamine neuron receptors of these pests. The aroma of cedar to an insect is the same as ammonia to a human—repelling the insect away from the site.

For years, NRG clients have used Cedar Gard for their garden and home needs. Cedar Gard will repel mosquitoes, insects, aphids, earwigs, chiggers, ants, ticks, termites, fleas, beetles, squash bores, citricola scale, powdery mildew, tomato worms, cucumber beetle, snakes, and much more. Apply directly on your crops, around the perimeter of your house, inside your house, on your pets, on your skin and on your clothes. There are no chemicals to worry about because Cedar Gard is a cedar oil based product with a zero toxicity rating.

It is hard to believe that such a natural product could provide this much benefit. We decided to ask some of NRG’s clients about their experiences. A resort owner in Galveston, Texas said, “I sprayed around the outside of my buildings and I also sprayed inside the hallways and I had 100% mosquito control.” An organic farmer in Texas reported 100% control of flies with his animals and animal pens. A Canadian landscape company resolved their mosquito problem spraying once a week. Several California growers testified about the reduction and eventual control of citricola scale, aphids, thrips, and the cucumber beetle. Many clients related stories about applying Cedar Gard directly to pets and pet bedding.

Cedar Gard has no effect on beneficial insects like ladybugs or butterflies. The aroma of cedar is lethal to NON BENEFICIAL insects. Cedar Gard will stifle the ability of the insects’ receptors to detect food, mates, and to reproduce. When comfort levels are destroyed, insects become over whelmed and relocate. Insect displacement interrupts the “egg laying cycle” eliminating a new generation of arthropod. All insects breathe through their bodies; therefore, the scent is absorbed directly into the body affecting the insect’s neurological or biological systems, causing paralysis, confusion, death or flight. Applying Cedar Gard consistently and persistently will create a barrier of re-entry and increase the desired results—no bugs.

Using aromatic red cedar as a pesticide is not a new idea. The cedars of Lebanon were used to build King Solomon’s Tomb. The Egyptians used papaya leaves soaked in cedar oil for the mummification of their dead. Our pioneering forefathers used cedar sawdust on the floors of their cabins to rid them of numerous pests. Native Americans would rub their bodies with cedar needles to prevent mosquitoes and other biting bugs from feasting on them. Cedar coat hangers, chests and other items are commonly used for protection against moths in closets, wardrobes, and dresser drawers. We also use cedar in pet cushions to repel fleas and ticks as well as reduce odors, and believe it or not, cedar oil based shampoos. History has shown us that Cedar oil is a great alternative to harsh chemicals.

By using Cedar Gard (http://www.callnrg.com), as well as other natural and organic products, you can work with nature instead of against it.  Man masters nature not by force, but by understanding.
