Clean and Green Dryer Vent Experts
Redford, MI, June 3rd -- Saturday, June 6th from 10 a.m. through Sunday, June 7th 10 a.m. will mark Redford's 5th participation in the American Cancer Society, (ACS), Relay For Life. According to the ACS the event brings together 3.5 million people across the country to Celebrate, Remember, and Fight Back against cancer. This event represents the hope that those whom lost their battle with cancer will never be forgotten, those who face cancer will be supported, and that one day cancer will be eliminated.
Saturday's event will take place at Claude Allison Park, located on Beech Daly Road between Six Mile and Seven Mile roads. This is a family affair with games, food, silent auctions, items for sale, and live entertainment throughout the day. Redford will have 24 teams walking the track in their support for the fight against cancer. This year's theme is Be Strong and Live for the Holidays. Each team will represent a holiday.
Team H.E.L.P, (Heal. Every. Last. Person), will be representing Easter this year. Team Captain Kimberly Reiher, 4 time Relay participant, will be leading the way for her team fight during this 24 hour event.
“Every year this event helps me to Remember my Grandmother who lost her battle with cancer, support those who are battling the disease now, and raise crucial funding for research so that one day cancer will only be read about in history books.” says Kimberly Reiher.
Clean and Green Dryer Vent Experts are sponsoring team H.E.L.P. 2009 and will be represented by Ronald, Timothy, and Christine Reiher.
