Animal Planet’s Joel Silverman and Co-star Foster to Make Personal Appearances at Camp Bow Wow® Doggy Day and Overnight Camps® Across Country

Boulder, CO: Over the next few months, Joel Silverman, host of Animal Planet’s “GOOD DOG U” and his faithful, co-star Foster will make personal appearances at Camp Bow Wow Doggy Day and Overnight Camps across the country as part of their 90-city tour promoting Silverman’s new book, What Color is Your Dog? Silverman will conduct a 1-hour seminar focusing on the philosophy behind his successful career as an animal trainer, answer questions and sign copies of his book at each Camp Bow Wow he visits. Foster, an animal actor, himself, will assist him in a demonstration. Admission to the seminars and book signings is free and the public is invited to attend.

Silverman, who is best known as the host of Animal Planet’s long-running program, “GOOD DOG U,” has trained and performed with different species of animals for over 35 years. He’s worked with everything from marine mammals like killer whales, dolphins and sea lions at Sea World to domestic house pets like cats, dogs and birds at Universal Studios. In February, Silverman was presented with the 2008 Dog Trainer of the Year Award at the Purina Pro Plan Our Hero Dog Water 54th Annual Show Dogs of the Year Dinner in New York City.
