Join Rockledge Apartments and Help Keep the Chattahoochee River Beautiful

June 3, 2009 - PRLog -- Rockledge Apartments is proud to extend an open invitation to all Atlanta residents to participate in a Chattahoochee Beautification Day with the Upper Chattahoochee Riverkeeper on June 14, 2009 at 1 p.m. This is a perfect opportunity for residents of these apartments near the Chattahoochee River, as well as other locals, to give back to the river that provides the city with fresh water and is an exceptional channel for outdoor activities including rafting, kayaking, running, walking and biking.

SweetWater specializes in producing West Coast-style beers for the Southeast. Also at the after party, complimentary food tastings will be provided by the restaurants Doc Greens and Boneheads.

In conjunction with eating, drinking and celebrating at these Marietta apartments, the Upper Chattahoochee Riverkeeper will provide a presentation about the threats facing the Chattahoochee River and what Atlanta residents can do individually and as a community to ensure that the city has enough clean water now and in the future.
