Ferrari Legal, P.C., a Washington, D.C. based law firm, has released a new web based service whereby vistors can receive an online legal consultation and be matched with a trusted attorney in their jurisdiction.
The new service, dubbed Legal Roadmap (http://www.legalroadmap.com), is currently set to serve individuals and businesses in the District of Columbia, California, and Texas.
The process for receiving a consultation is fairly simple. Vistors will submit their facts through the secure Legal Roadmap site. These facts will be received by the Legal Roadmap attorneys who will then create a consultation memorandum specific to the facts submitted. The consultation memorandum will consist of the issues raised from the facts; what relevant legal authorities have to say in regards to those issues; and an analysis of how those legal authorities apply to the specific facts. Finally, Legal Roadmap will provide next steps to be followed by the visitor if they choose to proceed on their own. If they do not, Legal Roadmap also includes a list of trusted attorneys in the visitors jurisdiction with whom they can follow up.
Attorneys also benefit from the service by signing up as a Referral Affiliate. These Affiliates will be listed on the consultation memoranda issued in their jurisdiction. This results in a direct referral to the attorney.
The creators of Legal Roadmap seek to create a level playing field between attorneys and their clients. Legal Roadmap representatives have stated, "In this day and age, people are using the internet to conduct legal research so that they can handle their own legal matters. Many times they do not understand what to look at and are doing more harm than good. Now they will have a cost effective service whereby to get real legal advice."
