Dr. Len Remia to Speak on Minimally Invasive Joint Replacement in Ft. Lauderdale

May 8, 2009 - PRLog -- Pompano Beach, FL -- Len Remia, MD, FAAOS, will be the featured speaker at “Dinner with the Doctor” at Holy Cross Hospital on Wednesday, May 6, at 4 p.m.  The orthopedic surgeon will present, “Get Your Life Back in Four Short Weeks,” an informative lecture on the latest advances in minimally invasive hip and knee replacement surgery.  The lecture is free and open to the public.

Dr. Remia is a Harvard Medical School trained, board-certified orthopedic surgeon, who practices in Pompano Beach, Broward County, Florida.  He is the founder and director of the Orthopedic Center for Minimally Invasive Joint Replacement which offers Minimally Invasive (MIS) alternatives to standard total knee and hip replacements.  The MIS techniques allow joint replacement patients the ability to walk the day of their surgery and to be discharged from the hospital within 48 hours of their surgery.
