Grayling, a consultancy that focuses on International Public Relations, Public Affairs and Event Management, select Sage TimeSheet following a presentation from one of Deepak Sareen Associates' consultants.
Jo Kanani, Grayling's Chief Accountant described their reason for doing so as follows:
"We selected Sage TimeSheet because it provides the functionality that we need; specifically, comprehensive reporting with easy download to Excel coupled with easy time entry for our consultants.
The same TimeSheet consultant undertook the system setup, implementation and administrator training, making the whole process efficient, effective and seamless."
Sage TimeSheet Reporting
Grayling use TimeSheet to identify client-resourcing issues across their business. The monthly reports that the Finance Department produce identify whether clients are being under or over serviced and by how much. This enables management to easily balance service levels with client needs and remuneration.
TimeSheet's reporting also makes it quick and easy for Finance and other end users to run ad hoc reports as required.
As well as enabling management to manage teams more effectively, the data collected is fundamental to the successful negotiation and conclusion of client fee agreements. This is because TimeSheet collects data on time spent by employees on individual client accounts and, where necessary, by project.
Using Sage TimeSheet
A key element of Sage TimeSheet's (http://www.sagetimesheet.co.uk) acceptance across the business is the ease with which Grayling's 65 consultants can enter their time without getting in the way of servicing clients. What’s more, if anyone should fall behind, TimeSheet's Missing Time reporting makes it easy for Finance to see who is at fault so that a gentle reminder can be given verbally or automatically by email. This ensures that accurate, up to date information is always available.
Summing up, Jo Kanani concluded:
"Sage TimeSheet is easy for fee earners to use and makes it easy for us to provide management with the information that they need to run the business profitably."
