Christian drug rehab is becoming the number one chose for addicts and alcoholics looking for a new life full of hope and restoration. When we asked addicts and alcoholics that have been to at least one drug and alcohol treatment center prior to a Christian drug rehab why they chose a faith based program, the answer was seemed clear. One alcoholic stated, "I am tired of the same old same old and I wanted clear direction on how to live life free from drugs and alcohol. I do not want to live life based on what a random stranger or people in twelve step meetings say. I take in the advice I receive from them but I want clear and proven direction so I research the bible and see if it lines up with what God would have me do. If it does, I move forward and this process has been working for me for the past 7 years. With that being said, I also put great value on twelve step meetings and the benefits of what twelve step fellowships offer. The twelve step groups have also proven to be very effective. If a Christian drug rehab is able to successfully combines the two methods, I found that to the best overall solution for me. Prayer, meditation, Christian counseling, and daily scripture reading really deals with the heart issue. Fellowship with other addicts and alcoholics brings hope and also accountability."
Christian drug rehab is a top chose for addicts and alcoholics in 2009 because most of them offer very strong substance abuse education along with biblical principles. Addicts and alcoholics are naturally very self-centered individuals and as the big book of Alcoholics Anonymous says, it is the root of the disease. Teaching addicts and alcoholics to step outside of themselves and do God's will for their life is a challenging adventure but extremely rewarding to say the least. A Christian drug rehab that offers a program designed to achieve this goal seems to have high success rates.
