CMSText Announces vendor agreement with General Motors
Lexington, KY. – March 20, 2009, – CMSText, a Lexington, Kentucky based mobile software company, has announced their newly approved vendor agreement with General Motors.
“CMSText is excited about being selected as a vendor by General Motors to offer text message services” stated Conrad R Carney II founder and CEO of CMSText.
CMSText services were used during the Atlanta auto show providing attendees the ability to get the currently offered incentives and information on Cadillac, Hummer and Saab models. Mr. Carney was a featured speaker at the General Motors Dealers conference and shared how the expanding mobile market can drive customers into the dealerships. Offering coupons for the service departments as well as providing a method of communicating information about vehicles to potential customers when the dealership is closed.
“Text messaging enables the “Sunday Silent Shopper” to access valuable information, while providing the details necessary for the dealership to follow up with their customer” stated Michael Daopoulos, the CMSText representative in charge of the General Motors account.
CMSText offered the additional feature of setting up a mobile website for each model thus providing a virtual test drive of the vehicles as well as extensive content about the incentives being offered by General Motors. Auto show attendees were invited to text on specific models.
