Tunerjunkyard.com Closing Holly Hill, FL Warehouse, Scaling back operations. Will continue to operate in a limited capacity, while focusing on rebuilding.
Due to health issues of Co-Owner Jerod Husvar, as well as time limitations of Owner Marisa Torres, TunerJunkyard.com will be scaling back operations. The plan includes closing the garage and warehouse facility in Holly Hill, Florida. The current inventory will be relocated to a storage facility closer to the couple's home in Flagler County, Florida. Ms. Torres commented "We have been traveling back and forth between Flagler Beach and Holly Hill and this has really put a stress on our budget and service levels. We are going to work on finding a facility that will allow us to have our home and business at the same time, while allowing me to be close to my 'day job' in Bunnell, FL."
Mr. Husvar has been battling health issues that, until recently, were undiagnosed. "It turns out that I had a staph infection that has been running rampant, which I didn't know. When it really set in hard about 3 weeks ago, it strapped all of my energy and I didn't understand what was going on. It turns out that the infection nearly spread into my bloodstream. Thank God that we found out what it was and I got the proper medications."
Marisa Torres ended with this; "When we find a place where we can have our home and our business together, we will be better prepared and able to ramp the operations of TunerJunkyard.com back up. In the meantime, we will focus on selling inventory we have, and building our base. We plan to keep both our eBay store and website running, and will be working to make a better company, on a smaller scale."
