Georgia's Termite and Pest Control Leader Peachtree Pest Control Receives Leadership Award

April 3, 2009 - PRLog -- On March 26th of 2009, Peachtree Pest Control Co, Inc. an Atlanta Based Pest Management firm was presented the International IPM Excellence Award for Regional Leadership in Environmental Stewardship at the 2009 IPM Symposium in Portland, Oregon. The IPM (Integrated Pest Management) Institute of North America issued the 68 point Green Shield Certification to Peachtree Pest Control’s “PEACHTREE GREEN” program late last year thus allowing Peachtree Pest Control the opportunity to offer the only nationally certified green pest management program in the south east. It was for this regional leadership and the successes that the PEACHTREE GREEN service has generated that obtained the recognition.

Corey Arnold, President of Peachtree Pest Control was quoted at the symposium saying, “Customers in the South East have long sought a more eco friendly option in pest management. The PEACHTREE GREEN Program offers just the solution, not only in practice but in support. We believe it is the third party certification offered by the IPM Institute’s Green Shield Certification that has added consumer confidence and helped us avoid green-washing. Anyone can say they’re green...that doesn’t always make it true”.  

The PEACHTREE GREEN Program has also added tremendous value to Atlanta based commercial facilities seeking the United States Green Business Council’s (USGBC) LEED Certification. To date, PEACHTREE GREEN is the only service currently available specifically designed to meet all IPM credit criteria associated with LEED. “This has proven to be a tremendous value to our customers”, states Mr. Arnold. With a growing customer list that includes the City of Jacksonville, Florida State University, multiple GA county school systems, and dozens of Class-A commercial facilities around the southeast, the results speak for themselves.
