The concert will feature Jim’s original music presenting the Holy Scriptures in song. Jim says, “In the Holy Bible, it is written that ‘No word of God is void of power.’ My goal as a writer, performer, and recording artist is to truthfully present the Gospel of the Lord Jesus Christ without compromise.
He continues, “Since my music mission is non-commercial and I do not sell anything, there is no pressure to conform to any music business or politically correct controls. Hopefully someday soon and Lord willing, I would very much like to give away my recordings to anyone who wants one at my concerts and on line.” Jim has recorded seven contemporary Christian albums to date.
Jim performs as a solo-acoustic artist on his 12-string Ovation Custom Legend guitar. For this performance, Jim will be using a T.C. Helicon Harmony G effects pedal that will allow Jim to occasionally add two harmony voices to his own vocals. Jim says, “The effect is stunning yet very natural sounding and quite musical.”
Jim will be performing his controversial song, “If You Imagine”, written in answer to former Beatle John Lennon’s song, “Imagine.”
“Jim explains, “The Lord Jesus said, ‘If you love Me, keep my commandments.”
