Nefatari performs at Clippers II nightclub in Queens, NY for a special performance with reggae artist Shaggy.
March 12, 2009 (New York, NY) – Singer/songwriter Nefatari made a special appearance with multi-platinum recording artist Shaggy at Clippers II Nightclub in Queens, NY for a surprise performance at Irie Jam’s 93.5 Radio Lounge. The special event was hosted by BET J’s Nikki Z. After a brief Q&A Shaggy hit the stage to perform his hits old and new. “Pop Music’s Mistress,” Nefatari then took the stage to perform with the 10X platinum reggae artist. She sung an acapella version of “Super Woman” by Karen White while Shaggy looked on in amazement. The crowd at Clippers II went wild and Shaggy was definitely impressed by this new, young & upcoming talent known as Nefatari. “You need to go see my manager right there” says Shaggy on the mic after Nefatari finished her performance coupled with a standing ovation from the onlookers.
“This was truly an experience of a lifetime” says Nefatari while she poses with Shaggy for the photographers. The timing could not be any better as Nefatari readies her 1st single “Special Delivery” due to impact on the first day of Spring. Fans can look forward to the song receiving instant rotation on 93.5 FM in NY as well as other radio platforms. While Nefatari readies her first single “Special Delivery,” she is also in the studio with various producers including the Illfonics (LL Cool J), The Heavyweights (Ne-Yo), and J Vibes (Keyshia Cole, Estelle, and Sean Paul) whose accolades include Grammy’s and other accomplishments.

NEFATARI began her entertainment career as a model and has always looked at the industry from every angle. Her gifts and talents have propelled her into dancing, modeling, acting and music. She is a singer/songwriter who easily takes center stage to woo her audience. NEFATARI’s song “Want Him/My Thugs” appeared on the Gangsta Beat Riddim and has been played on 93.5, 107.5 with David Levy, and Hot 97 with Bobby Kondors and Jabba. She has also performed on Hype TV in Jamaica twice and her music video for "Don't Believe Him" plays on Tempo in Jamaica.
