Accomplished Singer/Songwriter Returns Home to Share Her Music

March 3, 2009 - PRLog -- Constant Change aka Dawn Thomas has found much success during her career in Nashville, but she always said one day she would return home to sing for Pensacola. How lucky we are to have such an accomplished artist in our city. Dawn has performed and written songs for such artists as Faith Hill, Anita Baker, Lorrie Morgan, James Ingram, Earth Wind & Fire, Sandi Patti and a host of others. Dawn is very excited that the very song she performed on the “Indecent Proposal” soundtrack and also performed on the “Breath” album by Faith Hill has just been recorded on the “Coming Back to You” album released February 2009 by American Idol finalist, Melinda Doolittle.  

Signed to Electra Records in 1993, she recorded a pop album produced by legendary producer, Tommy LiPuma, who also produced Natalie Cole’s Unforgettable album. As a songwriter Dawn has had several songs chart in the Billboard Top 40 and over 5 #1’s. She was also nominated for a Dove Award for the song, “I’ll Give You Peace”, recorded by Sandi Patti.

Dawn definitely has shown a unique talent and now having hooked up with drummer, Vernon Porter and bassist Joe Mitchell to form Ask Bill, The Band she can share her music and talent with us. You won’t want to miss this group. They are the real deal. You can hear them live right here in Pensacola.
