Wowza recently launched a new Web site, The D5 http://www.thed5.org, dedicated to helping diabetics and their health providers work together to set and achieve goals to better manage their diabetes.
Jeff Rabkin, owner of Wowza, a marketing consulting firm based in Minneapolis, joined Michelle Ferrari, MPH, Aligning Forces for Quality Project Director with Minnesota Community Measurement, to present The D5 Web site http://www.theD5.org at the Institute for Clinical Systems Improvement (ICSI) education workshop on February 25, 2009 in Minneapolis. The workshop is sponsored by grant from the Robert Wood Johnson Foundation Aligning Forces for Quality initiative.
Rabkin and Ferrari will present http://www.theD5.org, a Web site created and developed by Wowza and Minnesota Community Measurement to make it easier for people with diabetes, along with their health care providers, to work together to set and achieve goals to better manage their diabetes. The presentation is part of a day-long learning collaborative sponsored by ICSI called “Shared Decision-Making”
Rabkin will describe Wowza’s multi-disciplinary approach to designing and developing health care data reporting Web sites and consumer engagement marketing campaigns to improve health care providers’ ability to provide patients with the information and support to enhance their experience.
“Our primary goal at Wowza is to build resources and expertise to share with communities across the nation toward our common goal of improving the health care system,” Rabkin said.
