New H.264 Arecont Vision AV5155DN MegaDome 5.0 MegaPixel IP Security Camera added

Feb. 18, 2009 - PRLog -- The Arecont Vision MegaPixel IP security cameras have long been our best selling IP security cameras.  But the bulky camera enclosures made these cameras more popular for larger business installations where the larger commercial style camera enclosures were less noticeable.  However, with the release of the new line of Arecont Vision MegaDome MegaPixel IP security cameras like the AV5155DN Day/Night low light 5.0 MegaPixel IP Security camera, these cameras are now enclosed in a much smaller 4" dome enclosure, providing great quality 5.0 MegaPixel (2592x1944 resolution) recording even for smaller home or business installations.  

  These cameras can now be mounted virtually anywhere, indoors or outdoors, and include the popular 4-10 mm Adjustable varifocal lens, allowing you to custom-tailor your width of view, providing great quality high definition video, recording and streaming in H.264 video compression format for smaller file sizes and improved quality over older MJPEG models without a loss of frame rate.  The AV5155DN Day/Night 5.0 MegaPixel IP Security camera provides great quality video during the daytime and at night with low-light night vision down to 0.3 Lux and frame rates up to 9 fps at 2592x1944 resolution.

  Now small business or even homeowners can enjoy MegaPixel quality video recording without needing a large camera enclosure.  These cameras are PoE ready, and record HD quality video onto a PC with NVR software.  The H.264 Arecont Vision IP cameras are already supported by our Alnet Netstation NVR Software.
