Laney Dale Launches New Podcast for Entrepreneurs

Feb. 16, 2009 - PRLog -- At The Helm:Confessions of a Serial Entrepreneur is podcast and blog where entrepreneurs share experiences and advice. In the premier episode Laney Dale interviews entrepreneurs Mark Naglevoort and Diane Dennis of IFG Resources in Raleigh NC. During the interview Mark, Diane, and Laney explore various issues facing today's entrepreneurs including social networks like Twitter and Linkedin, managing your day, tips for new entrepreneurs, and more.

Diane J Dennis has been named Managing Director of International Financial Group (IFG).  IFG, an international company with 16 locations in the US and Canada, specializes in the placement of Senior Level Finance, Accounting and Tax & Audit professionals on a contractual, consulting and full-time/permanent basis.  In this potion, Dennis will be responsible for new client business development and leading recruitment efforts for senior level finance and accounting consultants.  

With over a decade of business management experience, Dennis is a CPA with over eight years of accounting experience including roles in audit and transaction support services with Big Four firm, KPMG, in the US and Australia.  Dennis has also held roles as a Controller for a Virginia based technology company and was a Sarbanes-Oxley consultant at the Commonwealth Bank of Australia.  In addition, Diane served as Vice President, Operations for a health and well-being company overseeing all aspects of the companies operations including customer satisfaction, human resources and operational execution.

Dennis graduated cum laude from Villanova University with a BS Degree in Accounting and is a certified results life coach.

Mark Nagelvoort has extensive experience in the field of finance and senior level recruitment. Prior to joining IFG, he served as Area Practice Director for Ajilon Financial Solutions (“AFS”) in North Carolina and Florida. AFS is the senior level consulting arm of Ajilon Professional Staffing and in new business development and senior level recruitment for Robert Half Management Resources in Raleigh.  Nagelvoort’s career in finance began in the New York metropolitan area where he served as Senior Vice President of Internal Controls and Strategic Development for Hudson United Bank, Managing Partner of Hedgerow Mergers & Acquisitions LLC and as Principal of Nagelvoort & Company Inc.

Mark Nagelvoort earned his Bachelors Degree in Business Administration from Hope College in Holland MI. He is certified in Series 7, Series 63 and as a Financial Operations Principal.

Laney started his career as a security consultant and moved quickly to KPMG where he assisted clients through out the US with compliance and security issues. While at KPMG he assisted VISA with developing the credit card security standards.

Laney volunteers his time coaching youth sports and helping to feed the needy.  He earned a bachelor’s degree from Baxter College and currently attends North Western Law School.
