Just before releasing the calendars from their Art Contest, PostcardMania CEO Joy Gendusa is presenting the winning artists one by one in her weekly newsletter to her 80,000 email-database – the 2nd artist just recently released. The judging process was a blind one, ensuring no one had any idea who had submitted each piece in order to keep it unbiased. The result? A great mix of art pieces from PostcardMania employees, customers & even prospects, celebrating the Holidays and New Year with economy yet with their imitable style.
The 2nd featured artist is Mark P. Karydis, an American of Greek descent, born in Cairo, Egypt, and educated in General Accounting, Fine Arts, Architecture and Civil Engineering. Presently, he is a Real Estate Broker, Instructor, Mortgage Broker and speaks five languages.
In 1994, encouraged by his wife Eleni, Mark began his painting career. He prefers to paint compositions and Greek landscapes using brush & knife, and oil on canvas. Recognized in Quebec and Canadian Guides of Artists in Galleries, his paintings will be found in Greek, Canadian and American private collections.
