Charles Napoleon Commences 2009 Manhattan Committee on Foreign Relations Season

The Manhattan Committee on Foreign Relations announced on Wednesday that the organization will be hosting Prince Charles Napoleon of France in early 2009.

FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE

PR Log (Press Release)Dec 10, 2008 – The Manhattan Committee on Foreign Relations announced on Wednesday that the organization will be hosting distinguished M-CFR member, Prince Charles Napoleon of France in early 2009.

The visit of Charles Napoleon, Prince Imperial initiates the 2009 roster of events for the Manhattan Committee on Foreign Relations, or M-CFR.  Though the itinerary of Prince Napoleon's visit to America is undisclosed, Drew Dwyer, new President of the Manhattan based Committee, promised that the event would be towards the beginning of 2009.

Napoléon VII, Prince Imperial (Charles Marie Jérôme Victor Napoléon) is a French politician, and the current head of the Imperial House of France as male heir to the rights and legacy established by his great-great-grand-uncle, Emperor Napoléon I. Though the Manhattan Committee on Foreign Relations does not historically disclose its membership, Dwyer did state that the Prince is "one of the many distinguished members of the Committee.  It's not often Charles visits the States, so for him to preside our first meeting of 2009 will be real treat for the rest of the members."  The meeting will be closed to the public.

The Manhattan Committee on Foreign Relations is a nonpartisan, private, member organization. Membership is by invitation only and members generally consist of prominent persons from the political, media, military, academia, and business worlds.

The Manhattan Committee is a chapter of the American Committees on Foreign Relations and is based out of Rockefeller Center. The ACFR was established by the Council on Foreign Relations in 1938 and became its own association in 1995.
