The awards ceremony covered over thirty different categories of websites that ranged from art and beauty to travel and tourism.  The websites were recognized for the ability to create a strong web presence and the experience that they provide to customers and visitors to the sites.  The sites that were reviewed were nominated by their peers and the public as the best of the best.  DigitalFilipino.com promotes the efforts of websites that seek to offer their members and customers an outstanding web experience.  In the web industry, a group that rewards those that create a great website helps to keep the web a good place for consumers to conduct their business.  

GreatPinoy.com was reviewed for its content, the navigation of the site, the site design, search engine readiness and technical performance, and came out on top of all sites in that category.  This gives a great nod of approval from the industry to GreatPinoy.com.  When considering all of the sites in this category, having the one on top of the game for functionality and design is good news for us and good news for all members of this site.
