"Billions of loan and grant dollars have been earmarked for people previously identified as credit risks", proclaimed Roger Greene, a researcher for Government Publications based out of Washington, DC. Money is available to purchase homes, cars, start a business, and consolidate debts plus many other purposes. In addition, new financial resources have been committed to help the unemployed get job training and re-enter the job market.
"Now is the time for citizens to act if they need money for any worthwhile purpose," urged Greene. He also reported that several reduced-cost and even free programs now exist to benefit economically disadvantaged and recently unemployed persons. Such programs include dental and vision care services, prescription plans and legal aid.
Government Publications offers a program, which provides the latest information on new programs as well as existing free grant and loan resources for any worthwhile purpose. The CD-Rom also includes 50 successful grant and loan applications that were funded. These sample applications are essential items since most denied grant and loan applications are due to improper or incomplete paperwork.
