Industry veteran Don Martin has opened a new firm this month, Don Martin Public Affairs, in Austin. The firm will specialize in issues management, communications strategy, media relations, crisis communications and government affairs.
Martin was formerly President of Martin & Salinas Public Affairs and has been in the public affairs industry in Austin since 1989. He has also been actively involved in real estate development. He is currently authoring a book on Austin history through Arcadia Publishing which will be in bookstores and on Amazon.com in March 2009.
