Southern Ocean County Chamber's Regional Wedding Road Show Is Off and Running

Nov. 21, 2008 - PRLog -- If meeting one bride's needs takes planning, imagine the effort the Destination Wedding Committee is making to prepare for hundreds of local and out of area brides to attend their Wedding Road Show April 19, 2009. This is one of a kind event, will showcase the area in a way like no other bridal event has. Chamber members will have the opportunity to open their businesses for the day to devote to potential bride and their families who will get to meet, discuss and sample first hand the quality wedding venues and services that the region offers. Each venue the bride visits she will earn another entry for the Road Show Grand Prize, a getaway a Williams Cottage Inn, a five course dinner for two at The Gables, a His and Her Massage from Red Sails Salon and $500 check from OceanFirst Bank's First Home buyers Program

The event has captured the attention of the wedding media throughout the state, New Jersey Life Magazine's Premiere Wedding Issue due to on stands sponsoring the chamber event by running a full page ad, web site advertising and providing wedding issues for the day of the Road Show along with wedding journalists. The popular statewide NJwedding.com online wedding resource for NY, NJ and PA has also come on board as a media sponsor, running a pre registration contest from November until the beginning of April. The VIP experience will allow the winner to turn to self guided wedding planning event to a first class luxury experience. The contest is sponsored by Daddy O Hotel with an overnight stay the evening before the April 19 Road Show and a white stretch limo with tuxedoed chauffeur  to escort them to the various open houses of the Road Show, sponsored by Van Dyk Group who provides a unique insurance product that covers almost every aspect of the wedding day.  A Custom flower arrangement and gift basket upon arrival at hotel is donated by Rose Garden Florist and Camille's Floral.
