PRLog (Press Release) - Nov 14, 2008 -
CLASSICAL music fans will have the chance to be transported to the mild coasts of the Mediterranean later this month thanks to a concert at the Brangwyn Hall.

Tickets for the Italian favourites by Candlelight concert being held at 7.30pm on Sunday November 30 are now available.

The Chamber Orchestra of Wales will treat the audience to music by the likes of Verdi, Rossini and Vivaldi amidst a magical setting illuminated only by flickering candles.

Cllr Graham Thomas, Swansea Council's Cabinet Member for Culture, Recreation and Tourism, said: "The candlelit concerts at the Brangwyn Hall are a real treat.

"The atmosphere is terrific and the quality of music will be first-class.

"It's the first of a series of concerts over the autumn and winter season at the Brangwyn Hall and will give people a flavour of what's to come."

Other forthcoming performances soon to appear at the Brangwyn include Messiah featuring Morriston Tabernacle Choir on December 20 and the eagerly-anticipated Christmas by Candlelight concert on December 23.

Tickets for the performances are available from the Grand Theatre box office on 01792 475715.
