Oct. 28, 2008 - PRLog -- TheMoveChannel.com, the leading international property portal, announces a number of new properties near Arambol Beach, India:

·   Peace Valley (£220,000 to £600,000, landscaped gardens, 9 hole golf course)

Properties in India are unlikely to be an investment opportunity UK investors have considered in the past, so TheMoveChannel.com provides an overview of Arambol Beach.

Beach Location

Arambol Beach is set in the quiet fishing village of Arambol, which is located 50 kilometres north of Panaji. The Portuguese interpretation of the name of the village “Hamal” gave Arambol its present name.

The beach can be reached from either Pernem to the east or Morjim to the south and buses travel frequently from the towns of Mapusa and Chopdem.

Hot Temptations

Arambol Beach is one of Goa’s most charming beaches, with its long stretch of golden sand and clear blue waters. The beach is extraordinary as it manages to be popular (especially on Sundays), yet remains secluded and unspoilt.

Close to the main beach there is a hot spring which bubbles into a freshwater lake, set between low hills that hide a spectacular Banyan tree. The silt produced by the spring is rumoured to have healing properties.

The beach attracts many international tourists, particularly from Israel, mainly during the winter season between December and February. Arambol has a reputation for being a haven for hippie travellers due to its bohemian vibe and sense of seclusion.

To the north of Arambol, there are idyllic bays and freshwater pools, which are excellent for swimming. The ragged rocky cliffs near the beaches serve as a popular place for paragliding, plus there’s always the possibility of taking a boat trip to watch dolphins or to cruise to the nearby beach of Anjuna.

Dan Johnson, Managing Director, comments:
“Secluded and unspoilt, Arambol Beach is one of the finest beaches in India.”
