PRLog -- Ken Alan Heffernan is the executive director of The Collaroy Center, a conference and outdoor education centre that provides comfortable accommodations, spectacular meals and one of the most magnificent views imaginable. Ken has been with The Collaroy Center for more than twenty years and is responsible for overseeing the daily operations of the five hundred bed facility and for supervising everything from catering to scheduling, staffing and event management. Ken is well known and widely admired for his excellent leadership and professionalism. He is equally well regarded for his personal pursuits. Ken has an exemplary academic history and attended the Kings School and then the University of Sydney and Macquarie University. He also directs a summer camp for underprivileged children and each year more than two hundred children come to the ocean for recreational and educational programs that positively impact their lives, grades and familial relationships. Additionally, Ken supports the community through volunteer work at the Salvation Army and as a mentor to local youth. He is the chairman of the board of Christian Venues Association of Australia and a board member of Christian Camping International. At home in Collarod Beach, New South Wales, Australia, Ken enjoys spending time with family, surfing and football.
