McKinney, Texas—Icon Construction announced today the completion of construction of a 93,000 square foot modular project for the U.S. Army Installation at Ft. Huachuca, Arizona. The project consisted of two administration buildings and thirteen barracks. Buildings were constructed in Icon’s manufacturing facility in Durant, Oklahoma. The project took 100 days to complete from notice to proceed.
Icon president James Bell stated, “We are proud to continue to serve the nation’s war fighters. Our design/build and rapid response capabilities are critical to being able to support the military.”
Icon Construction, headquartered in McKinney, Texas is the nation’s only 8(a) modular firm with its own manufacturing facility. The firm is veteran and Native American owned. Their manufacturing facility located in Durant, Oklahoma gives the company SDB and HUB Zone status with the SBA.
