Roman Jewelers To Host Dress For Success Clothing Collection To Help Women Make A New Start

Oct. 15, 2008 - PRLog -- Roman Jewelers will host Dress for Success events to collect women’s used business attire at their stores in Flemington and Bridgewater Commons Mall on Sunday, October 26, 2008 .  The collections will take place between 1:00 – 4:00 PM at both locations.

Dress for Success is a not-for-profit organization whose mission is to promote the economic independence of disadvantaged women by providing professional attire, a network of support, and career development tools to help women thrive in work and in life.  Each client receives approximately one week’s worth of appropriate clothing and accessories, as well as continuing career development.

Dress for Success will accept fall/winter women's business attire during the collection at Roman Jewelers on October 26th, including women's business suits, blouses, pants and blazers.  They will also accept jewelry, purses, scarves and lightly worn shoes.  They have a special need for size 16 and up, as well as jewelry and purses.  

Dress for Success asks that all clothing donations be clean, in excellent condition and on hangers.  Only items that are appropriate for working women in an office environment should be donated for this particular event.  The organization will provide receipts for items donated.
