Aug. 19, 2008 - PRLog -- Author Cindy Horyza of Vernon, B. C. is excited to announce the launch of her latest book Self Care 101, a how to guide for anyone who has ever lost themselves in a relationship or dysfunctional family or who has suffered from co-dependency or addiction. Filled with practical advice on how to get your own needs met during times of stress, Horyza’s book also features her new song, “My Dog’s a Turn Coat,” written and performed by Horyza and recorded and produced by Pianojam Studio.

Self Care 101 is a follow-up to Horyza’s popular first book, The Hornet’s Nest:  Coming Full Circle, released last year. Written under the pen name C. L. Souley, The Hornet’s Nest:  Coming Full Circle is a memoir chronicling Horyza’s tumultuous life within her dysfunctional family. Suffering from both addiction and co-dependency, Horyza successfully traverses the rocky terrain as she carves out a life of peace and acceptance for herself and her family. Her books offer hope for others who have experienced similar situations.

“I have survived many challenges throughout my life, and have written about them to work through my own feelings and to help others find inspiration to get through the tough times,” Horyza said.

In addition to her books, Horyza recently released her first full-length CD, “On a Pawsitive Note,” and a line of greeting cards. Her books, music and greeting cards are available online at www.clsouley.com and locally at The Heart of the Earth Creations in Fort St. John’s, Vibe by Home Pros, North Peace Care Center and North Peace Art Gallery.
