Kent Station Announces Free Summer Concert Series

Kent Station is excited to announce the return of its free summer concert series, the Soulful Sounds of Summer. Beginning July 8, visitors will enjoy a variety of music at Kent Station’s center stage, just outside AMC Theaters.

PRLog (Press Release)Jun 11, 2008 – Kent, Washington – Kent Station is excited to announce the return of its free summer concert series, the Soulful Sounds of Summer. Beginning July 8, visitors will enjoy a variety of music at Kent Station’s center stage, just outside AMC Theaters. Concerts will be held at the following dates and times:

Tuesdays at noon, July 8 through August 12
Wednesdays from 6 to 8 p.m., July 9 through August 27
Every Saturday afternoon in August

The concerts are family-friendly, free to the public and will include jazz, blues, rockabilly, country classics and more. In addition, Go Mobile Advertising will be on hand to collect non-perishable food donations for the Kent Food Bank and new or gently used books for Kent Youth & Family Services.

“The concert series was very popular last summer, so we’re excited to bring it back again this year,” Sommer Ueda of Kent Station said. “It’s a fun way for families to get out of the house and to experience different kinds of music.”
