“Hutch” wanted to fix motorcycles from his Virginia-based business, so he attended the Motorcycle Mechanics Institute teaching “Old Hogs New Tricks”. But after 10 years of turning a wrench for business, the 39-year-old Mark Hutcherson began to suffer from the rigors of his career. The work was tough and it was hard on Mark’s body.
Hutch, again, searched for alternatives. He'd always been interested in computers, so he expanded into the information technology market. He scanned the wanted ads and saw a plethora of vacancies but he soon discovered that securing an interview was even harder than fixing Harleys. Mark Hutcherson remarked "Without a degree it was nigh on impossible to land a job". This prompted Hutch to begin a course at the community college.
